Like many who travel over the summer, I'm taking a break from the blog this week. Some things I planned turned out differently, and I've become busier with some of my travel advisor work. Plus, I need a bit of downtime before things ramp up in the fall.

But I plan on Denver-related and local content over the next few weeks. I may also hike or trail run through some new Jefferson County Open Space Parks and blog about them as I did a few years ago. Also, I'll relax at places like Golden Mill, pictured above.

In late August, JRS and I will return with NLS to Chicago for college. I hope we can visit some local activities or find new dining places. Then, RAS and I will sail on Virgin Voyages again, but this time we'll head to Key West and enjoy their Eat & Drink Festival onboard.

After that, the IFWTWA conference is onboard Discovery Princess, with three media trips to Surrey, BC, Concord, CA and Palm Springs. Finally, I'll go to Fort Lauderdale for the Cruise Planners conference and a three-day cruise on Celebrity's newest ship, Beyond.

Some trips may be between or in December, but those still need to be confirmed. I'll let you know if they are.
